About
Giovanni Bucci was born in Gorizia, Italy. He is an electrical engineer by trade but being an artist and sculptor are his passions. He worked for the Zenith Radio Corporation and Sun Electric Corp. and then began a new career designing and building custom cars. Other design work led him to trade shows for the Italian Government Travel Office, including custom, hand-made replicas of the Trevi Fountain and Sistine Chapel.
His business has grown nationally and internationally. He has been commissioned by the countries of Brazil, Italy, Greece, France, and Mexico to design, build, and assemble exhibits for major travel trade shows.
Today, one of his projects from the 1960’s that still draws remarks is his fiberglass sports car, which is on display in his 40,000 square foot three-story studio in Chicago. Walking in the front door, you are greeted by a world of exotic artistic delights for the eye.
Whether he’s utilizing his art studio, carpentry shop, machine shop, fiberglass molding facility, sculpture studio, or state-of-the-art computer printing system, Bucci can create whatever your mind desires.
